How to Repair a Hole in Fiberglass Tub Easily

Fill the hole with the fiberglass epoxy resin. Make sure that the hole is filled completely with the resin. You can use a tool such as a small stick to reach small area of the hole. After the resin is dry completely, sandpaper it using 200 grit sand papers. This is to make smooth texture of the epoxy resin. If you want to repair a hole in fiberglass tub which is quite big, you can mix the epoxy resin and fiberglass cloth. Cut the fiberglass cloth smaller than the hole. Apply the epoxy resin halfway inside the hole and layer it with the fiberglass tub and cover it again with epoxy resin until it reaches the surface. Let it dry completely. The epoxy resin is white in color and usually you do not need to paint it again if you have white colored tub. However, if you have another color other than white, you can buy fiberglass paint to paint it. After all the process has been done, you can clean whole of your bathtub to remove the unwanted smell and the sand residue. To repair a hole in fiberglass tub is not as complicated as you think.
